I allow for a 3-5 minute grace period of running late with no problem. Please call or text if you'll be more than 10 minutes late. Anything after 15 minutes will be counted as a no show without notice. I value my time and yours so I want to be respectful of the time scheduled for you.
I prefer 24 hours notice if you're going to cancel. This helps me get someone in from the cancel list. Understandably life happens and if you have to late cancel for specific reasons, I grant grace. You get one free no show and late cancel. Anything after that will be a $75 fee. After two no shows or late cancels or where it becomes a pattern, I will charge you the fee, remove any future scheduled sessions, and reach out to you to let you know that you've exceeded the policy and removed from therapy with me.


Payment is expected prior to the session. I work with Jenny, from Expert Billing Solutions, who will be collecting payment and any insurance information that I don't collect. I try to avoid payment plans as much as possible and want to keep your account balance low.
You can call, text, or email me anytime but I will respond during appropriate business hours. I am not a crisis center so I will not be available to answer at all times. If you have something you'd like me to remember for our session, send a short email so we can discuss it at the next scheduled appointment. Please keep other therapeutic information for our scheduled appointments.


I try to be up-to-date on your insurance changes but please let me know if anything has changed or will be changing. It can be a royal pain in the ass to deal with that stuff so I try to stay on top of it as much as possible but I do need your assistance if you know your insurance has changed.
Please update me if you have a change in address, phone number, email or any other contact information. I want to make sure we have the most up-to-date information to contact you as needed.


You can use the client portal to reschedule or cancel with enough notice, as needed. You can also use it to communicate with me should you choose. I am running a one-woman shop so anything you send through the portal will only be seen by me. If you need to reset your client portal password, please let me know and I can resend the link to do that.
I use a HIPAA compliant portal such as Zoom or Google Meet for telehealth appointments. My goal is to get you the link prior to the session either the day before or morning of your session. You may have to create a login if you don't already have one. If we stay consistent at the same time with telehealth only, I will create one link that will run through a set number of days and we can just keep that same one for your scheduled time. Make sure you have access to email to find your link prior to your sessions.
